The project
The bold & daring Material Creative reimagined Tax Traders workspace to have a boutique hotel vibe. UFL worked closely with the team to supply meeting chairs that stood out from the rest.
The furniture
The Nuez collection designed by Patricia Urquiola for Andreu World, was conceived along a simple central idea: using plastic like a sheet of paper, creating in the process a shell with an embracing sit. Nuez features a folding at the end of the seatback that reminds the typical gestures of working with paper: the final result seems to close the shape of the chair. Its characteristic texture reminds that of a quilted textile, giving the chair an atypical sense of softness, in contrast with a hard material like plastic.
Products supplied: Andreu World Nuez armchair with a camel brown thermo polymer shell with an upholstered seat pad in Kvadrat Rime on a black sled base.
The Nuez collection is part of UFL’s stock program and available for viewing in our showroom.
