Led by architects Warren and Mahoney, UFL was selected to fit-out the new airport hotel, Novotel at Auckland International Airport. The project required a versatile chair well suited for restaurant, auditorium and meeting room seating. UFL Design Lab designed and produced a custom solution – Ari, which was chosen for its comfortable ply material and was quickly manufactured locally in New Zealand. Additionally, the Kalida chair by Capdell was furnished throughout all 263 hotel bedrooms.
