Stefano Giovannoni & Elisa Gargan
Stefano was born in La Spezia, Italy and graduated with an architecture degree in Florence in 1978. He currently lives and works in Milan with his wife Elisa Gargan, who is also an industrial and interior designer. Since 1979, Stefano has taught and researched beginning with The Florence Faculty of Architecture and later, in 1989, at the Domus Academy in Milan. His interest is focused on cartoons, science fiction, celluloid mythology, and on the areas of the imaginary and artificial fictions. Stefano also works as an industrial and interior designer and an architect. He was awarded with several international design awards. His works are part of the permanent archive of the George Pompidou Centre in Paris and the 'MOMA' in New York.
