Ronan Bouroullec
Ronan Bouroullec is a French designer born in Quimper (Brittany) in 1971.
He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art at age 17. The following year he exhibited for the first time at the Salon du Meuble in Paris. This determined the beginning of his collaboration with French design companies, and during his student days numerous design projects took precedence over his university work. He continues his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. In 1996, his Soliflore Vase became part of the permanent collection of the Center Pompidou. In 1997, the Néotù gallery dedicated his first individual exhibition to him with Vase Combinatoires. Giulio Cappellini noticed his work at the Paris Mobile Salon, giving him the opportunity to create his first industrial design pieces, and he received the City of Paris Grand Prix for Design.
