Droplets collection is a family of four different shaped ottomans / benches, together with tables, of various sizes that are inspired by droplets of liquid on a surface. The design came from observations of how surface tension forms drops of water on flat surfaces. The legs are chromed to mirror their surroundings, and to let the top shapes be the focal point in the design. The end result is freely-composed clusters of floating, soft shapes that can co-exist within any kind of architecture as they are inspired by nature itself.
The main structure of the collection is birch plywood upholstered with two different foams to make it comfortable. The legs are 16 mm steel tube.
